The 3- and 4-cylinder FARMotion Stage V engines on the 5 Series DF\/DS\/DV models are even more powerful and more fuel-efficient than ever. The special feature of these engines is a formidable package of decidedly innovative technical content, such as electronically managed Common Rail injection (up to 2000 bar), an electronically controlled viscostatic fan and the PowerCore air intake filter. All this minimises consumption and increases productivity. The extraordinary compactness of the suite of exhaust gas aftertreatment solutions used, with an external, cooled circuit and electronic control of the EGR recirculation flow, DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), passive DPF and SCR, has made it possible to maintain the same sloping bonnet, as the previous Stage III\/B generation, to ensure a generous steering angle and excellent forward visibility from the operator’s seat. In addition to the new technology implemented to comply with the Stage V emission regulations, all engines now develop more torque and power, up to 116 hp on the top model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Modular, extremely robust and ultra-efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The modular transmissions on the 5 Series DF\/DS\/DV result from the extensive and specific experience of the SDF group. It has always been at the forefront of developing transmissions for specialized tractors. All the available options are distinguished by their modularity and efficiency. They range from the highly efficient, fully synchronized mechanical version with 12+12 gears, to the 45+45 with three Powershift speeds, the modular electro-hydraulic shuttle with 5 different response levels, Stop&Go and ComfortClutch, which allows you to change gear using only the button on the gear lever instead of having to operate the pedal. Stop&Go allows you to start using only the brake pedals, without having to activate the clutch. This makes both coupling equipment and hill starts easier and safer. It can be driven at 40 km\/h with economical engine speeds on the 5-speed version, while a higher gear is available as standard, allowing operation in the lowest gear and with the engine at maximum speed at just 200 meters per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The PTO also offers a wide range of configuration solutions: 540 rpm and 540 ECO modes are standard, with a selector handy next to the driver’s seat. It is also possible to choose between classic cardan shafts and interchangeable splined cardan shafts, as well as practical mechanical clutch or electro-hydraulic modulated automatic clutch, as well as remote operating controls, located on the rear fender. Finally, another potential option is the addition of the 1000 rpm mode, as well as the ground speed PTO. There is also the option of an automatic control that activates\/deactivates the PTO depending on the lift position, and a PTO from 1,000 rpm. The ergonomic and rational control layout, together with the DEUTZ-FAHR colour legend, makes controlling the PTO simpler, faster and more precise even for less expert operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Configuration options, power and precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deutz-Fahr has given the new 5 Series DF\/DS\/DV a powerful system with a wide range of equipment options. The hydraulic pumps dedicated to the front loaders achieve a maximum flow rate of 68 l\/min, while a second separate hydraulic circuit as standard, dedicated to the steering and attachments, uses an independent pump of 20 or 40 l\/min (depending on the machine equipment), for extremely smooth handling even with the engine idling. Up to 3 hydraulic valves are available at the rear, with flow regulator and free return. The standard electronic rear linkage has a maximum lifting capacity of 3130 kg (2600 kg on DS and DV versions) deployable up to 3940 kg and \u2013 again as standard \u2013 features vibration damping of the mounted implement. Hydraulic stabilisers and a front linkage with a lifting capacity of 1500 kg are available as options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
