Designed for agricultural work.
The 5 Series of Deutz Fahr tractors is equipped with 4-cylinder FARMotion 45 engines to increase maneuverability and traction respectively. These engines comply with Stage V emission standards and demonstrate extremely compact dimensions, ensuring a sloping hood profile, excellent external visibility from the operator’s seat and a large steering angle. Fuel consumption and noise levels are optimised, thanks to the electronically managed Common Rail fuel injection system, capable of operating at 2000 bar to achieve better combustion, reduced pollutant emissions and rapid response to sudden load conditions. Compared to previous models, the torque curve and increase have been improved, with better reaction to load variations and better performance at low engine speeds. The 5125 model has a maximum power of 126 HP at 2000 RPM; at the engine speed for ECO PTO (1600 RPM) it has a torque of 517 Nm and a power of 115 HP, reaching 91% of maximum power.
High efficiency and maximum modularity.
In order to properly develop the modular concept and to find the most suitable solution for all needs, the transmission versions of the new Deutz Fahr 5 series are based on a 5-speed mechanical gearbox and many options offered. The first of them is a mechanical shuttle or hydraulic PowerShuttle, with the Stop&Go system that allows the tractor to be controlled on the move using only the brake pedals. This useful function increases the tractor’s maneuverability, especially when working with a front loader. The second option concerns the underdrive and overdrive ranges, doubling both the forward and reverse gears, allowing a minimum travel speed of 300 m/h. Another important step is the Powershift function (2 or 3 gears), now also available in the Automatic Powershift (APS) function module for the HML transmission version. Electro-hydraulic 4WD engagement and 100% locking of both the front and rear differentials are provided on all models in the range.
A complete offer, for any need.
The power take-off is managed by an independent wet multi-plate clutch unit, electro-hydraulic controlled, for smooth and precise engagement and disengagement operations, at the touch of a button. An external PTO control is also available at the rear. The operation of implements requiring a PTO becomes perfect in every operation, thanks to the speeds available in several different combinations (540 / 540-540E / 540-540E-1,000-1,000E). The “AUTO PTO” function automatically manages the PTO, depending on the electronic rear linkage position.
High efficiency and performance.
To meet any operating need, the Deutz Fahr 5 Series tractors are offered with a 55 l/min pump and 4 hydraulic valves, mechanically controlled, with flow regulator and free return valve. All mechanical distributors are equipped with “detent” control (which allows a continuous flow of oil) via a mechanical lock on the control lever. The DEUTZ-FAHR rear hydraulic linkage is well known for providing the best precision and efficiency control in its category. These tractors are equipped with a mechanical power lift as standard, but can also be equipped with a fully electronically controlled version on request. The electronic unit enables several additional convenient functions such as maximum height limitation, low speed lowering, vibration damping system and automatic power take-off. The hydraulic rear power lift can reach a maximum lifting capacity of 5400 kg, has a 3-point linkage and is category II. In addition, a factory-fitted front power lift with a lifting capacity of 2100 kg can also be installed.
Excellent driving feel and uncompromising safety.
Designed and manufactured in-house, the two front axle versions feature both 4WD and electro-hydraulic differential lock. The 5095 tractor is equipped with a front axle with a maximum permissible load of 2900 kg and a maximum steering angle of 50°, while on the 5115 and 5125 models the load is increased to 3000 kg and the steering angle to 55°. The Steering Double Displacement (SDD) function is available on request on all models; this function reduces the steering wheel rotations by 50%, for quick maneuvers in narrow areas.
