Deutz-Fahr 6 Series TTV tractor

HIGHER PERFORMANCE IN EVERY ASPECT

Made in Germany, the 6 Series TTV stands out for its superior reliability and comfort, as well as for even lower fuel and operating costs. This is partly due to the engine oil change interval, now set at 1000 hours, and partly to the transmission and hydraulic oil change intervals, now set at 2000 hours. The four models in the series – 6190 TTV, 6210 TTV, 6230 TTV and 6230 TTV HD – are equipped with the tried and tested Deutz TCD 6.1 Stage V engine, with maximum power and torque of up to 230 hp and 970 Nm respectively. All models are based on the new TTV transmission, with unprecedented smoothness and comfort and significantly improved efficiency. For the first time, the 6 Series models with over 200 hp can be driven at up to 60 km/h.

THE HEART IS EVEN STRONGER

The 6-cylinder Deutz TCD engine with turbocharger, intercooler and Common Rail up to 1600 bar uses injection pumps lubricated with engine oil. With the SCR, DOC and passive DPF package for exhaust gas aftertreatment, it can operate at its full potential, guaranteeing minimal fuel consumption, which, when combined with its new large monolithic fuel tanks with capacities of up to 505 l (6230 HD), ensures an extremely long operating range. The passive diesel particulate filter used in the exhaust gas aftertreatment system offers three advantages: no additional diesel injection for filter cleaning, lower heat generation and much faster regeneration operations compared to traditional filters. All this helps to save time and money while fully complying with the Stage V limitations. For road transport, an engine brake with a special pedal is available, increasing the engine’s braking capacity by 40%. The additional braking force generated by the engine brake significantly reduces wear and increases the service life of conventional brake system components.

UNBELIEVABLE EFFICIENCY

Based on the same design already introduced in the TTV models of the 7 and 8 series, the new continuously variable TTV transmissions raise the bar in the category in terms of efficiency and reliability. A perfect combination of planetary mechanical components with two highly efficient high-pressure hydrostatic units, which guarantee a constant, smooth and jerk-free power flow and maximum performance, not to mention low fuel consumption and reduced heat dissipation. The new powertrain, which is assembled in Germany at Deutz-Fahr Land in Lauingen, features a high-performance transmission, giving the 6 Series TTV unprecedented acceleration and smoothness, as well as a significant increase in torque transferred to the wheels. The TTV transmission also enables these tractors to reach a maximum road speed of 60 km/h (models over 200 hp) at an engine speed of just 1800 rpm, while 40 km/h is available at an incredibly low engine speed of around 1200 rpm.

FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY AT ALL TIMES

The profitability that can be obtained from a tractor is strictly linked to both operational capacity and operational accessibility. The 6 Series TTV stands out precisely for these features: the engine offers outstanding performance, even at low revs, while the PTO, which has electro-hydraulic activation that can be modulated via the iMonitor, comes as standard with 3 electronically shifted rear gears (540ECO/1000/1000ECO) and up to two forward gears (1000 or 1000ECO). With the DualSpeed front PTO option, those gears can be changed from the cab in the InfoCentrePro. This allows maximum operating efficiency at all times and means that it is possible to frequently operate with the engine at low revs, significantly reducing fuel consumption, wear on moving parts and noise in the cab, which also extends routine maintenance intervals. The interchangeable rear PTO shaft makes it quick and easy to change, facilitating connection with any equipment and also reducing costs in the event of damage. The PTO operating modes can be managed both from the armrest in the cab and from either of the rear mudguards. For comfortable coupling of the machine, the rear PTO now also has a neutral position

BEST PERFORMANCE IN ITS CLASS

The hydraulic system of the 6 TTV series sets new standards in this segment. The hydraulic circuit is independent of the transmission lubrication circuit, guaranteeing a long service life. The Load Sensing pump – available with flow rates of 120 or 160 and, for the 6230 TTV HD, even 210 l/min – increases efficiency and reduces losses to a minimum. Up to 90 litres (or 60 litres for the 6190 – 6230 TTV models) of oil are on tap for
