Equipped with the latest digital solutions from DEUTZ-FAHR, the new 8280 TTV allows you to operate your tractor in the most efficient way and thus save time and money. With its powerful twin turbo engine with 287 hp and a top speed of 60 kp/h, the DualSpeed Front PTO and Dry Front Disc brakes it works quickly and is extremely agile in the field and on the road. Thanks to the intelligent fully adjustable front axle suspension and the developed MaxiVision cab, the new 8280 TTV maintains a comfortable working environment – even on the most demanding jobs.
DRIVEN BY EFFICIENCY.
The 8280 TTV is equipped with a new 6-cylinder DEUTZ engine with a displacement of 6.1 liters and twin turbocharger. It is designed for maximum performance and efficiency. The latest-generation Common Rail system meets EU Stage V requirements and the injection pump is oil-lubricated – working with a high injection pressure of 2,000 bar which optimises the combustion of the fuel and AdBlue solution and guarantees responsiveness in the dynamic behaviour of the engine. The well-rounded torque curve thus ensures high power reserves at lower engine speeds.

To reduce nitrogen, the exhaust gases are purified with an exhaust gas after-treatment system using a diesel particulate filter and innovative selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology. 500-hour oil change intervals and easy engine fluid changes reduce operating costs and increase machine availability. The very smooth drive shaft thanks to the optional mass balancing guarantees a high level of driving comfort and low noise levels.
DYNAMIC DRIVING.
The new SDF7780 continuously variable transmission is the result of many years of experience in the development and production of transmissions. Thanks to the intelligent combination of a stepped planetary gearbox, clutch unit and two hydrostatic units, a new compound transmission evolves, combining the benefits of each element and guaranteeing an absolutely optimal power flow.
The 8280 TTV impresses with powerful acceleration, smooth deceleration and a fast response to load changes. A simple transmission structure, with two automatic transmission ratios, allows smooth and automatic shifting from lower to higher speeds, without any noise.

Thanks to the powertrain management, it operates efficiently and powerfully in all conditions. With engine speeds of 1,830 rpm at a maximum speed of 60 km/h and 1,220 rpm at 40 km/h, the 8280 TTV shows its full potential in transport operations.
The robust structure combined with lower weight, smooth handling, easy service access and high mechanical ratio is the basis for the comfort and dynamics of the 8280 TTV.
THE POWER OF FLEXIBILITY.
The new 8280 TTV offers complete flexibility with a range of 3 standard PTO speeds: 540ECO/1000/1000ECO. In combination with the Dualspeed front PTO, wider and more efficient applications can be used. The machine load on the rear PTO shaft is automatically measured in a fraction of a second and the engagement of the PTO clutch is proportional to the actual load. Modulated start can be adjusted in iMonitor 3. The ECO PTO saves up to 18% of fuel consumption, and the proportional PTO offers protection for both the tractor and the implement.
The entire PTO unit can be removed for any maintenance without major dismantling of the tractor.
INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY.
With a maximum rear lift capacity of up to 11,100 kg, the 8280 TTV tractor has the power to lift a wide range of implements. To guarantee maximum versatility of the hydraulic system, the new 8280 TTV is available in different configurations, all with electronic valves with fully proportional controls. There are up to five hydraulic control valves at the rear, while the front area is equipped with up to three. The highlight: all valves can be proportionally controlled. The operation of the 8th spool valve is located on the small joystick and can be used precisely for combined maneuvers with the crossbar.

With its automatic or hydraulic lower link stabilizers, wheel slip control, hydraulic upper link, external remote controls, internal hydraulic pipes in the front support and an excellent view of the linkage and drawbar, the new 8280 TTV guarantees maximum power and control.
Flat couplings as another option are offered for the first time. The oil flow on both systems is 210 l/min.
