Each individual component of the 9 Series is highly innovative and among the best on the market. With the 9 Series, DEUTZ-FAHR offers three models of high-power, perfectly balanced and highly attractive tractors with which farmers and entrepreneurs can achieve the best results.
INCREASE POWER OVER TIME BY REDUCING CONSUMPTION
When it comes to the power supply unit for the Series 9, only the best is good enough. The decisive factor is the highest performance with the lowest consumption. There is no alternative to the Deutz TTCD 7.8-litre six-cylinder engines (295–336 hp) with two-stage turbocharger and intercooling, as well as SCR, DPF and DCR technology. The engines react instantly with an injection pressure of 2,000 bar and already deliver 90% of the torque at 1,000 rpm. Maximum torque remains constant from 1,200 to 1,600 rpm. The “low-speed concept” makes this new generation of engines unique. The engines also have excellent cold start characteristics – even in extreme conditions. Thanks to the innovative SCR/DPF technology, the 7.8-litre Deutz TTCD engines comply with all international laws (Stage V) – with no loss of performance.
TTV TRANSMISSION. MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY FROM 0.2–60 KM/H
Efficiency is created by precision, and precision is created by accurate operating speed. The electronically controlled and continuously variable TTV transmission offers exactly the right speed for all types of work. The TTV transmission combines the efficiency of mechanical components with the intelligence of a hydrostat. It covers a speed range of 0.2-60 km/h. Especially in field work, it is most effective between 7–15 km/h. This is where 80% of the mechanical components come into play. During transport, this is on average 90%. This ensures fast response across the entire gear range, smooth acceleration in all conditions, high dynamics and economical driving. With a high tractive force, the TTV transmission can cope with even the most difficult situations.
THREE-SPEED PTO
With three PTO revs (540 Eco, 1000 and 1000 Eco) at the rear and 1000 and 1000 Eco at the front, all jobs can be carried out very efficiently. Thanks to the characteristics of the “low rev” engine, the application of Eco-PTO can be extended, thus significantly reducing fuel consumption. All hydraulic and PTO functions can be easily set and controlled from the armrest in the cab.
12,000 KG CRIMPING CAPACITY, 210 L/MIN. PUMP CAPACITY
The 9 Series connection points are as versatile as the requirements and working practices of entrepreneurs and farmers around the world. With a lifting capacity of 12,000 kg at the rear and 5,000 kg at the front, all conceivable combinations of equipment can be used.
With a pump capacity of 210 l/min., the high-performance hydraulic system ensures maximum flow for eight auxiliary valves, six at the rear and two at the front. Truly unique: all valves are proportionally controllable. Even in the case of complex maneuvers, the valves can be operated via the joystick or controls in the armrest. Flow rates (1-100%) and activation time (1-60 s.) can be easily programmed from the operator’s seat, separately for each controller. The load detection system is equipped as standard. A separate pump feeds the steering so that the hydraulic working system is not compromised.
COMFORTABLE AND SAFE: AT SPEED AND UNDER HEAVY LOADS
Superior security. All 9 Series tractors are equipped with the DEUTZ FAHR Power Brake system – for more stopping power with less pedal pressure. Tractors with a speed of 60 km/h feature large exterior dry front brakes. 50% of the braking force is on the front axle, and the activation of four-wheel drive is done automatically for additional braking force.
EPB (Electric Parking Brake) is also standard. It is automatically deactivated when the direction of travel is selected and reactivated shortly after the operator has left the tractor.
MAXIVISION CAB II. Get up and enjoy your work
At first glance it is already obvious that working in this environment is a pleasure. The MaxiVision Cab 2 offers plenty of space for the operator. The high-quality materials create a bright and pleasant working atmosphere. The new panoramic windscreen, as well as the large windows on the sides and rear give the operator the best all-round visibility. An upper glass window is available. Thanks to the newly designed front bonnet, the downward view towards the front coupling area is clearly visible. The cab is pneumatically suspended and insulated from the bonnet, so that engine heat, vibrations and noise do not reach the cab. The maximum noise level is 69 dB. Climb up and sit relaxed until it’s time to get out, even at the end of a long workday.
