Since the first generation launched in 2013, Virtus has always been purpose-built to deliver extraordinary efficiency and productivity across a very wide spectrum of applications. SAME has always been renowned for visually appealing designs, while emphasizing the usefulness and effectiveness of the functions of the machine itself. The latest SAME Virtus family continues this tradition by introducing a one-piece bonnet with an all-new design that offers superior forward visibility and best-in-class handling. In a range of three models, the new Virtus family is powered by the new FARMotion 45 engines with maximum outputs from 116 to 143 hp (incl. amplification). The electronic control system of the FARMotion 45 engines manages the functions of the 2000 bar Common Rail injection system, the e-Visco fan and, on the 125 and 135 models, even the geometry of the VTG turbocharger blades; Advanced technological solutions designed to meet the torque and power needs of today’s agricultural machinery. The wide range of drivetrain configurations offered also contributes to the versatility of the Virtus family. For a more traditional setup, customers can opt for an easy-to-use yet equally functional 5-speed mechanical gearbox with 3 Powershift gears (up to 60+60). The SAME Virtus tractors are now also available with the new RVshift transmission, an automatic transmission that is controlled entirely from a single joystick interface. It is a Full Powershift transmission concept with a total of 20+16 speeds, offering an intelligent transmission management system that ensures fast and smooth shifting and unparalleled comfort levels.
