The Deutz Fahr 3 Series tractors are the fruit of advanced technology and feature a powerful new, electronically controlled Stage V Common Rail engine. HIGH PERFORMANCE, LOW EMISSIONS.
The new 2200 cc 4-cylinder engine features a turbocharger with waste-gate valve and common rail injection up to a maximum of 1800 bar, thus guaranteeing excellent performance and limited fuel consumption. Stage V compliance is guaranteed thanks to the implementation of EGR, DOC and DPF, none of which require regular maintenance or additional diesel injections. The new engine delivers maximum power at 2600 rpm, approximately 400 rpm less than Stage III A engines with comparable power and displacement specifications.
The result is not only a reduction in noise and vibration levels and fuel consumption, but also torque delivery that is optimised for agricultural uses, common applications and green space maintenance. Thanks to the electronic management system, the engine installed on the 3050 version generates 51 hp, without the need for an intercooler; this represents a considerable advantage for super-compact tractors, reducing the size of the bonnet and at the same time making the cooling and maintenance of the main radiator more efficient.

The fully mechanical and fully synchronized gear change system guarantees high levels of reliability and efficiency, maximizing the power transferred to the wheels and limiting fuel consumption, regardless of the working conditions, while increasing the towing capacity. The 3 Series model is equipped with a 3 x 4-speed gearbox as standard, offering a total of 12 forward and 12 reverse ratios, which allow the tractor to operate at a forward speed of just 0.96 km/h in the lowest gear and the engine running at full speed and a maximum speed of 30 km/h with the engine at partial capacity, so as to limit noise, vibration and fuel consumption.
The gearbox control levers are ergonomically positioned under the steering wheel. To optimise traction in the most difficult conditions, 100% simultaneous locking of both differentials is standard, with electro-hydraulic control.
All the options you need.
The PTO, which is completely independent of the main transmission, is fitted as standard and has the traditional 540 rpm mode; it can be engaged easily and quickly thanks to the ergonomically designed control device. On request, the machine can also be equipped with the optional 540 ECO version or the 1000 rpm mode, both of which are also synchronised with vehicle speed changes.

Thanks to a level of accessories unrivalled in their category, the DEUTZ-FAHR Series 3 tractors are ideally suited for use with a wide range of implements. The standard configuration includes a 31 l/min hydraulic pump dedicated to the rear linkage, which offers a load capacity of 1200 kg, and 2 hydraulic valves with quick couplers. The rear linkage is available with three-point linkages in category I and II, which can also be equipped with quick couplers.
The hydraulic control levers are easily positioned on the right mudguard.

The 3 Series tractors are equipped with axles specially designed by the manufacturer. In the case of the 3050 model, wider axles can be opted for, or the Heavy Duty version. The high steering angle, coupled with the short wheelbase typical of vehicles in this category, means that the 3 Series is able to guarantee excellent maneuverability, even in the narrowest spaces.
